John R. Fortney

Celebrating 35 years in Real Estate this year John has a well earned reputation as one of Toronto’s most trusted and respected Realtors. Consistently a member of the Chairman’s Club at Harvey Kalles Real Estate Ltd. for over 25 years, John R. Fortney has long been recognized as a leading Sales Representative across the GTA. John’s business encompasses three main focuses. Firstly, prestige neighbourhoods such as Rosedale, Moore Park, Lawrence Park, Forest Hill and South Hill. Secondly, family neighbourhoods such as Leaside, East York, Riverdale, Davisville Village, Bloor West and High Park. Thirdly, John is often seen as “the go to guy” at Harvey Kalles for condominiums. John’s priorities are his clients’ needs; he is very sensitive to their particular situation and works to meet their goals. Because of this, the majority of John’s buyers and sellers are repeat clients or referrals from very happy past clients. He is the only one his clients will trust to look after their parents or children. Of course, John is also well-known as an agent for both real estate and positive change. He is a two-time recipient of the Toronto Real Estate Board’s Outstanding Community Service Award, Co-Chaired SnowBall 2009 in support of Casey House, and hosts events in support of Princess Margaret Hospital. John is a Paul Harris Fellow, and most recently a recipient of The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his community work. John was honoured to have been elected President of The Rotary Club of Toronto for 2020/2021.
